MA Beat is specifically designed to keep  you motivated and excited. This dynamic class will give you an intense workout by combining simple aerobic atmosphere (music, energy & fitness) with Martial Art based movements (kicking, punching etc). This gives for a distinctive and fun class that really works!  You DO NOT need any Martial Arts training to participate.

 

You can stop and rest during any point of the class - everything is at your own pace.

 

Warm Up, Work Out, Stretch and Special Ab Workout Section.

 

Suitable for ALL fitness levels.

 

Wear comfortable aerobic clothing and bring a drink and towel! If you have a yoga mat bring that along too!

Treat yourself to a great workout
whilst making new friends and getting in shape!

Aerobic exercise has tremendous physical benefits for you and it should be a part of your exercise routine. What does it do for you physically that makes it such an important form of exercise? Just ask your heart, lungs, and muscles - they will give you a quick answer!

 

* strengthen your heart muscle and lungs by making them work harder; with regular exercise, you can lower your blood pressure and cholesterol

 

* stimulate the circulation of blood and lymph around your body and so help strengthen your immune system

 

* help you burn calories and reduce your body fat

 

* raise your serotonin levels, stimulate your brain to release endorphins and so give you a natural "high" and easing any stress or anxiety

 

* increase your body strength so you are less prone to injury

 

* improve the shape and tone of your body.

 

Afterwards

After a good aerobics class, you should feel energised (if a bit tired out). Don't let that lovely natural high distract you from the fact that you will also have done a lot of sweating; make sure you allow yourself time to have a shower and drink plenty of water. If you haven't done the class before you might find you're a bit achy a few days later. This is just because your body has worked some dormant muscles and the stiffness should ease off.
